How to post a carousel on Facebook

Post an engaging, scrollable, update on Facebook. This is a great way to give your clients a quick overview of policy changes or share a collection of images.

How To

Time needed: 5 minutes.

  1. You’ll need to use a computer

To post a carousel of images, you’ll need to go to your clinic’s Facebook page using a computer. (The mobile app doesn’t have this feature yet)

  2. Click the Photo/Video button

Look for the “Write a post” box, and click the Photo/Video Button.

  3. Click “Create a Photo Carousel”

There will be a few options you can choose between, but we recommend the photo carousel.

  4. Write a post & enter your URL

We’ve included some text in the kit you can copy/paste for the post itself (change it however you’d like). Then, enter a URL for clients to visit when they click any of the graphics. (We recommend using a link to a page on your website with more info about your COVID-19 policies, but your homepage is fine too)

  5. Select the graphics (in the order you’d like)

After entering your URL, you’ll be able to start selecting your graphics. To do so, just click the [ + ] button and find the folder on your computer where you saved them. We suggest selecting images one-by-one so you’re sure to put them in the right order.

  6. Customize the image captions, and share!

If you’d like, you can change the caption that appears underneath each graphic. Just click on the text beneath each image, and you’ll be able to change it to whatever you’d like (we recommend matching the headline of the graphics). Then, just click the Share Now button at the bottom to finish.
